As director of rehabilitation, Steve Gearey manages the day-to-day operations of Saint Barnabas Rehabilitation Affiliates, a collaboration of highly skilled rehabilitation professionals that provide state-of-the-art care for patients at various Saint Barnabas facilities throughout New Jersey. The group provides services in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and outpatient therapy centers. Mr. Gearey maintains the budget, staff allocation, program development, and fiscal management of these facilities.

Mr. Gearey’s areas of expertise include the following:

• Management of all aspects of large skilled nursing facilities
• Design and redesign of rehabilitation units
• MDS compliance

Mr. Gearey’s previous experience includes program manager of rehabilitation at two Saint Barnabas Rehabilitation Affiliates care sites.
