As vice president, Lori Barrett serves as an internal and external expert in home- and community-based services providing leadership to the Health Dimensions Group consulting team. Ms. Barrett has over 18 years experience in operations and development and integration of senior services both within integrated systems and freestanding entities. She assists our clients with all aspects of home- and community-based planning, including PACE, home health, assisted living, adult day care, and recently emerging innovative models of care for the senior market.

Ms. Barrett’s areas of expertise the following:

• Adult day care, including bilingual/bicultural programs
• Strategic planning and organizational re-design
• Senior housing with services; o Home health care
• Assisted living, market-rate, and subsidized models
• Leadership development and succession planning

Prior to joining Health Dimensions Group, Ms. Barrett was the chief operating officer-administrator of home- and community-based services for Mary Immaculate Healthcare Services in Massachusetts, a member of Covenant Health Systems. She has served as project manager on a number of multi-million dollar projects including writing and receiving a $6 million assisted living conversion project grant from the U.S. Department of HUD. Prior to that position, Ms. Barrett was the director of clinical services for the Home Health VNA where she developed high-risk specialty homecare programs and led several clinical teams.

Ms. Barrett is involved with developing newly emerging models of senior care and housing. She has provided expert testimony to state commissions and spoken nationally on the preservation of affordable senior housing and assisted living.
