As director of Riverwood Assisted Living, a 49-bed assisted living facility in Watertown, Wisconsin, Ms. Stewart is responsible for daily operations and ensures federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations are strictly adhered to and that the highest degree of quality care is provided to residents.

Ms. Stewart’s areas of expertise include the following:

• Alzheimer’s type dementia
• Writing curriculum and certification standards
• Presentation of senior care issues

In keeping with Ms. Stewart’s desire to make a difference in each community she is located, she possesses 30+ years experience in health care working in activities, volunteer coordination, and in-service education. Ms. Stewart also worked in Chaplaincy at Miller-Dwan Medical Center, as director of operations at Our House of Western Wisconsin, CBRF director at Harmony Assisted Living of Stoughton, and marketing director at Fairhaven Senior Services in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Ms. Stewart has also served as training consultant for skilled facilities in Texas, Colorado, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. In 1999, Ms. Stewart was the Best Practice Award recipient from the Health Care Financing Administration, nka Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, for work in integrating Three Pillars Campus residents into the local community via sponsorship of a special Halloween event.
