Amy Minnich assists organizations with review and development of home- and community-based services in their continuum of senior health care, including Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) operations for prospective and operational PACE programs.
Ms. Minnich’s professional background includes leadership positions in acute hospital and critical care, home health, managed care, and long-term care services. Prior to joining Health Dimensions Group, she served as executive director for LIFE Geisinger (Living Independently for Elders Program operated by Geisinger Health System) in Pennsylvania with responsibility for program development and performance for the multi-site PACE program. Ms. Minnich’s experience at Geisinger also includes management of network management services for a 240,000 member HMO. Previously, at the Visiting Nurse Association, she developed and managed a home-based recovery program for cardiac patients across a five-county service area.
In 2010, Ms. Minnich was a Practice Change Fellow sponsored by Atlantic Philanthropies and the John A. Hartford Foundation, a program designed to improve services and expertise in the field of senior care. She was the 2006 recipient of the Geisinger Community Health Services division’s Tokar Manager of Distinction Award in recognition of her outstanding leadership.
Ms. Minnich participated on the Pennsylvania Tactical and Strategic Planning Committee focused on improvement in the state aging and welfare departments, and she is a frequent presenter at national, community, and professional organizations on the topics of aging issues and long-term care alternatives.CONTACT
