As the Quality and
Regulatory Clinical Consultant for Health Dimensions Group, Ms.
Peterson’s role includes providing managed facilities with her expertise in quality control and regulatory compliance through
education, management, and training.
Ms. Peterson’s nursing experience spans over 25 years
and includes management, teaching, and consulting to direct care. Ms. Peterson has led educational programs including new employee
training, infection control, and quality control education programs for a variety of organizations.
She has a depth of knowledge of state and federal regulations for health care facilities from her experience as a HCFA-Health Facility Evaluator and as a Nurse Specialist for the Minnesota Department of Health Survey and Compliance Division.
In addition, she has conducted on-site visits with facilities to ensure compliance with
corporate standards along with the state and federal regulations.
An innovative educator, Ms.
Peterson has developed a Positive Review and Evaluation Process
(PREP) to assist facilities with regulatory compliance. In addition,
she developed Caring Above and Beyond, for use throughout Health
Dimensions Group. Caring Above and Beyond is a quality initiative
program that integrates the quality philosophy and quality
improvement into everyday operations throughout the organization.
