As regional director of operations,
Mark Pederson provides direction and executive leadership to Health
Dimensions Group’s managed facilities. He has direct operational
responsibility for seven facilities in five states, and provides
support to the facility administrators.
Mr. Pederson has more than 18 years
of long-term care experience in the senior care industry, providing
him with a broad background through work in multiple states and a
variety of community sizes.
Mr. Pederson’s areas of expertise
include the following:
Development of specialty care subacute units
Management of construction and renovation
projects; and conversion of facilities
Grant/technical writing
Prior to joining Health Dimensions Group in 2008, Mr. Pederson
was the administrator of Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River,
Minnesota, a 120-bed long-term care facility. In addition, his
work experience includes serving as administrator of four other
skilled nursing facilities, ranging in size from 50 to 273 beds,
in both the nonprofit and proprietary sectors.
Mr. Pederson is a member of the Minnesota Health and Housing
Alliance’s Regulatory Affairs Committee and has served as chair
and secretary/treasurer as well as Medicare Intermediary
Transition Provider Task Force representative. He is also active
in numerous community and civic organizations.
