In her role as Senior
Consultant, Ms. Gorshe is part of the Health Dimensions Group PACE
Technical Assistance Team, to which she brings her success in the
start-up operations for two operating PACE sites in Portland, Oregon
and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With a career that spans 30 years, Ms.
Gorshe is recognized as a national leader in the field of aging and as
a strategic developer and successful operator of full continuum of
care programs. Ms. Gorshe's areas of expertise include the following:
PACE development, from
concept through implementation
Integration of health
care, community-based services, and long term care needs for
health systems, long term care providers, and states
Strategic and business
planning
Operations of long term
care and expansion of subacute units and home health care
agencies
Prior to consulting, Ms. Gorshe was President of Franciscan ElderCare and Vice President of Continuum of Care for Catholic Health Initiatives
(CHI). With Franciscan, she was responsible for the operations of long-term care and expansion of subacute units and home health care agencies. With CHI, she led the strategic and business planning for services for the elderly in 24 states, including the development of the Philadelphia PACE/LIFE site.
Ms. Gorshe received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Washington State University. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work Administration and a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Washington.
