Administrator – Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to serve as Administrator for Waukesha Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center. Under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations, the Administrator leads and directs the overall operation of the skilled nursing facility in accordance with resident needs, governmental regulations, and company policies, with the main objective of maintaining quality care for the residents and achieving business and financial profitability for the facility. Responsibilities include managing census and revenue development; demonstrating successful expense management; managing sales and marketing; providing human resources management; managing quality systems; and providing regulatory management. 
Qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing home administration or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • NHA (Nursing Home Administrator) license
  • Minimum of 3 years NHA or related management experience in a long-term care facility
  • Experience collaborating with local health care partners
  • Experience in labor relations management; experience and ability to drive successful financial results
  • Strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
  • The ability to provide supervision and direction to staff

Senior Consultant - Health Care Finance

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Consultant with Healthcare Finance expertise. As a Senior Consultant, you will provide expertise and guidance in the area of healthcare finance by preparing and presenting financial analyses for a wide variety of consulting engagements primarily for hospitals, health systems, and post acute care providers. You also may be involved in financial analyses related to institutional and home and community-based long term care and senior housing.   

Key responsibilities of this position include: preparing financial projections (income statements, statements of cash flow, balance sheets, detailed supporting schedules), interacting with clients to obtain and interpret data necessary for completion of projections, preparing and reviewing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, acting as a healthcare finance and reimbursement resource for the entire organization, and assisting all service line managers in the development of budgets, proposals, and timelines on projects involving financial consulting aspects.

Location: This position would be based out of the Minneapolis, MN area or through a home offfice in the Chicago, IL area would be considered

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • CPA Preferred
  • 2 years consulting experience in health care finance/reimbursement
  • Knowledge of capital financing
  • Expertise and experience with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement systems and principles
  • Experience in healthcare finance including acute care, LTACHs, acute rehabilitation and other post acute care preferred.  Experience with long term care, senior housing, and home and community based services would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Requires an advanced level  of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products;  particularly with using Excel to develop and manipulate large spreadsheets
  • Consistent follow-up skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 40%
