As Chief Operating
Officer for Health Dimensions Group, Mr. Abbott provides oversight to
the management and consulting practices for the organization. In this
capacity, Mr. Abbott provides leadership in the management of long-term care and senior retirement communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin,
Colorado, and Washington as well as direction for securing consulting
contracts related to Health Dimensions Group's areas of expertise.
With 16 years of long-term care management experience, Mr. Abbott has provided executive leadership for communities ranging from
small, rural nursing facilities to large, metropolitan continuing
care retirement communities. Mr. Abbott also served as the National
Director of Assisted Living Operations/Special Projects for Volunteers of America
National Services. Mr. Abbott's experience includes work with
nationally renowned not-for-profit and for-profit organizations as
well as free-standing communities throughout the country. Mr.

In 2004, the Minnesota Health &
Housing Alliance named Mr. Abbott the Kal Michaels Administrator of the Year.
In addition, while leading the Minnesota Masonic Homes, it was
recognized as one of Minnesota's Great Places to Work
by the Minneapolis Business Journal. He also received the Volunteers of America Human Service Leadership Award for his development and implementation of subacute/transitional
care initiatives.
Mr. Abbott has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Concordia College and a Bachelor of Science from Moorhead State University. Mr. Abbott received a certificate in Long-Term Care Administration from the University of Minnesota and MBA Certificates from the University of St. Thomas Center for Medical Affairs in Healthcare Management and Quality Management.
